SPIRIT OF ST. NICHOLAS - St. Nicholas is known as the patron saint of children and for doing many kind and generous deeds in secret. Let’s celebrate this wonderful spirit of giving by donating an item to Catholic Charities. We will be collecting for one week beginning Monday, November 30th until Friday, December 4th. In order to ensure a variety of items, we are asking grade bands to contribute certain goods.
K-2 - shampoo & conditioner
3-5 - bar soap & toilet paper
6-8 faculty and staff - diapers (size 4, 5,6) & laundry detergent (25 loads and larger, no PODS)
Adopt a Family -
This Christmas season, St. Malachy is sponsoring two families. Below is a list of some ideas for each family member. If you want to donate, please bring the item or items to the office, by Wed. Dec. 11th. Thank you for your donations.
During Mass on December 2nd and 8th there will be a Noisy Can collection. Money collected will used to buy items for the family we are sponsoring this Christmas.

CHRISTMAS DINNER 2015
We are planning a Christmas dinner for those in Creston or surrounding communities. This will be for anyone and everyone. There is no charge. There will be a carry-out service and also delivery service for shut-ins in Creston. Many of us will be out of town or sharing the day with their families, but the items needed can be made ahead and frozen or dropped off to one of us at your convenience. Someone will be at the school by noon to set up and receive your donated items. Also, they can be left in the church kitchen (just let us know). Let’s all work together and share the meaning of Christmas.
