Dear Parents,
We are going to finish out the week before spring break on a high note. Wednesday afternoon we participated in the Seder Meal. This was my first Seder Meal at St. Malachy School and it went so well. It is so touching to see so many students praying and learning together.
Speaking of praying and learning together did you see our video about our Cross Walk last week? I think I choked back tears the entire walk. This was a very spiritually moving moment for me and I think for many others. Take a minute to check out our video. Cross Walk
We will finish out this week with Parent Teacher Conferences. We look forward to seeing you at our school. Don’t forget to stop by the Book Fair while you are here.
A huge congratulations to Megan Pellman
She completed the regional round and has qualified to compete in the state level competition of the National Geographic Bee!
Please say a prayer for her as she moves onto the State Competition on April 1, 2016
SICK KIDS
There will be times when a child may not feel well enough to come to school. For the health of the other children and in the best interest of the child, the child should not come to school if they have been sick during the past 24 hours (fever, diarrhea, vomiting, and/or severe cough/cold).

JA Biz Town
JA BizTown combines in-class learning with a day-long visit to a simulated town. St. Malachy students will learn how to operate banks, manage restaurants, write checks, and vote for mayor. We are very excited to have added this program to our St. Malachy curriculum. This unit will help students connect the dots between what they learn in school and the real world. Our 5th grade students will be going on April 8, 2016
We are seeking new leadership for our 2016-2017 PTO

Parents may come and purchase books for their children or gifts. Parents may also purchase books for a teacher’s wish list, books they would use in their classrooms.
