Dear Parents,
This week we celebrated our teachers and staff. Each day our teachers and staff received positive recognition from different families and stakeholders in our community. Monday our teachers were greeted by balloons and streamers put up by the PTO. On Tuesday pizza, pasta, pastries and pop were provided by the Board of Education. Everyone also enjoyed morning goodies and a fresh box of coffees and cappuccinos for the Keurig machine. On Wednesday, teachers enjoyed a healthy breakfast of yogurt and fresh fruit provided by the PTO. Today our teachers enjoyed a walking taco meal that I made and Mr. Adolfo’s world famous guacamole. Mrs. Lane brought in some great pies too. Throughout this entire week many teachers and staff have received notes, cards, cookies and flowers from our students. Our St. Malachy team is smiling and enjoying the fanfare and they deserve it. I couldn’t be more blessed to have a great group of dedicated individuals teaching and working with our children.

Congratulations to the following students for placing in the 2016 St Malachy Science Fair. All participants did an excellent job. The truth be told, the difference between placing and not placing were by fractions of a point. Everyone should be proud of what they have accomplished this year.

Ragbrai is coming to town!
St. Malachy School and Holy Spirit Parish is hosting a noodle dinner.
We need everyone’s help to feed 1700 hungry bike riders.

Money raised from this event will cover our school’s rising field trip costs.
